Literacy
Key question: Can I recount my favourite nursery rhyme or story?
  • I can listen for sounds.
  • I can listen to stories, poems and rhymes. I can make marks to represent things.
  • We will be reading familiar stories and nursery rhymes e.g. Humpty Dumpty, Harry and the dinosaurs.
  • And looking at general sound discrimina on environmental sounds, instrumental sounds and body percussion (Phase 1)
Mathematics
Key question: Which number lines can I sing?
  • I can sing number rhymes
  • I can say and recognise numbers (0-5)
  • I can sort objects (by colour/size/ shape)
  • I can name 2D shapes
Communication and Language
Key question: Do I know how to ask for help?
  • I can use my words to ask a familiar adult for help.
  • I can use please and thank you.
